Narrabeen Funerals
Testimonials

“Philip Holland supported us when my father died in after a short illness. We were unprepared for the event. Philip was brilliant throughout the project, from supporting us emotionally, to understanding my father’s interests and background. He developed a program flow for the actual funeral, sourced some interesting content and even produced the program.
Philip’s easy style also contributed to the success of the event itself, and he even co-ordinated the flow proceedings at the wake at the local yacht club with a selection of photographs. All in all he did a brilliant job and I would recommend him to anybody.”

“A quick note to thank you for everything you did for us for Wood’s funeral. From the minute we sat down with you, Maggie and Scott I realised all would be well. When it was suggested we could celebrate at a beach, and have the coffin at home to be able to involve the family, particularly the children to decorate it and be a part of saying farewell we relaxed. We were assisted in every way to create a real celebration of his life even to Scott driving off to the strains of ‘Take a load off Annie…’
A very big thank you to all involved. ”

“As my husband was nearing the end of his life, organising the funeral was one thing I had always dreaded. It comes at a time when you are completely overwhelmed, grief stricken and despairing. When I contacted Philip Holland however, all my concerns and worries immediately dissipated. Philip is the consummate professional. Combining his knowledge and experience in organising and officiating events including funerals, with his calm, sincere, empathic and caring nature, he took care of everything with no fuss, from dealing with my dilemma of meeting my parents-in-laws wishes that conflicted with my own, to creating and officiating the service and organising the cremation and return of my husband’s ashes. Everything went smoothly. Philip went beyond the expected; he met my parents-in-law at the mortuary services office and comforted them, had the order of service cards created, printed and delivered in no time at all, and supported all of us who spoke at the service, with his kind and gentle manner. Almost 100 people attended the service at my brother’s home, and my friends and family have since said to me how wonderful Philip was. I am most grateful to Philip in making this day one that will be lovingly remembered. ”
